Data Controller: The controller responsible for your personal data is AkClip (established in Ireland). We process all personal data in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Eligibility / Minimum Age: AkClip processes real-money payments (processed by Stripe on our behalf) and is intended for users aged 18+. By creating an account or paying you confirm you are at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live).
Data Minimization: We strictly collect only the data necessary to provide rendering services, process payments via our gateway, and manage active sessions.
Media Retention: Uploaded user assets and generated AI clips are stored in our cloud infrastructure and are kept until you delete them; nothing is deleted automatically on a timer. Deleting a clip removes it from storage immediately. We do not retain or train models on user content. Billing / transaction records are retained separately for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and are not affected when you delete media.
Cookie Governance: In compliance with ePrivacy regulations and Irish DPC guidelines, optional cookies remain strictly blocked until user grant. You may audit or revoke preferences at any moment via the link located in the site footer.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Required data is securely transmitted only to verified sub-processors (such as Stripe Payments Europe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for authentication, Google/YouTube for imports, and Cloudflare for storage and hosting) to fulfill service execution.
Your Rights: Under Irish and EU law, you maintain the right to access, rectify, or demand full erasure of your account data. Contact support@akclip.com for data requests.
